What is Margin Call and Stop Out levels?

Our margin rules are the following:

  • Margin Call - 100%
  • Stop Out level - 70%

You can see your Margin Level on your Trading Platform of choice.

If your Margin Level drops to 100%, you’ll get a margin call, which means you won’t be able to open any new trades.

If it falls to 70% or below, a stop-out will occur. This means the platform will automatically start closing your open trades, starting with the biggest losers, to help prevent your account from going into a negative balance.

What are CFDs?

CFDs (Contracts for Difference) are a way to trade on the price movement of an asset - like forex, stocks, or commodities - without actually owning it. You simply profit or lose based on whether the price goes up or down.

Hugo's Way Help: What is Leverage?

Leverage means you can trade a larger amount in the market using a smaller amount of your own money. The level of leverage you choose depends on how much risk you’re comfortable taking - higher leverage can increase both profits and losses.

If you’re unsure what to choose, it’s a good idea to speak with a mentor or do some research online to better understand how it works. Keep in mind that leverage can vary depending on the asset or currency pair you’re trading.
